The Verjú Laser consists of six low level laser beams that sweep the area of concern for a total treatment period of 15 to 40 minutes. Without incisions, pain or even heat, the low level laser emulsifies tissue beneath the skin to reduce the appearance of cellulite, and to contour the waist, hips, and thighs without surgery. Verjú safely causes the pores to open and release fatty lipids from within the fat cells, causing the fat cells to collapse and shrink to a smaller size. This action reduces the circumference and the appearance of cellulite. These laser stimulated leaky pores stay open for about 48 hours or more, leading to more fat cell emptying for some 2-3 days after treatment.

The fatty lipids then enter the lymphatic system where they are broken down into free fatty acids and used as energy in the cardiovascular system. The Verjú Laser System penetrates the skin to as deep 5.0 centimeters or 2-3 inches to treat hypertrophic fat cells, while increasing dermal collagen and stabilizing the fibrotic septae collagen.
