Frequently Asked Questions

A chemical peel is a powerful skin exfoliating treatment typically applied to the face, neck, and hands — the parts of us that weather the most damage—  to reveal healthy skin below the surface. A peel treatment uses a chemical solution to exfoliate and remove the dead skin cells that are congesting the outermost layer of your skin.

Peels are a quick treatment option, usually taking less than 20 minutes for application — but they do have a longer overarching process. After your treatment, the outer layer of dead skin cells may peel and flake for three to five days, leading to the revelation of clearer, smoother skin.

There is a peel for almost every most common skin concern. At our MedSpa, your peel treatment is always customized by our licensed aestheticians to ensure you get the most beneficial treatment. Chemical peels are a powerful treatment that help you achieve the following:
  • Minimal pores

  • Less  fine lines and wrinkles

  • Reduced sunspots, discoloration, and hyperpigmentation

  • Results similar to a mini facelift

  • Balanced skin texture

Stop the use of the following 1 week before treatment:

  • Waxing
  • Exfoliants
  • Chemical exfoliants
  • Retinols
  • Limited sun exposure

The initial results from a chemical peel may be subtle, but the positive effects become more pronounced with repeated treatments.

It depends on the type of peel & severity of the damage. It’s permanent if the individual is consistent with medical-grade skincare and monthly facials.
