Patricia Botello, RN, ACNP, BC

Nurse Pracitioner Specializing in Pain Management Care

Patricia Botello, or Patti has her patients lovingly call her, joins the Institute for Functional Health with 14 years of deep clinical experience.  During her years as a registered nurse, Ms. Botello worked in the Trauma and Intensive Care Unit at University of Texas Health Science Center.

She had a passion for providing exceptional patient care during traumatic experiences, but she wanted to play an even greater role in the care of patients undergoing these extraordinary circumstances. And so she returned to school and in 2010 obtained her license as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Patti's passion for patient care shines through in every interaction, as evidenced by her feelings on the patient care she experience every day in the Trauma Unit, " . . . trauma follows no rules. It does not matter what your gender, age, social status or financial status. Accidents and injuries happen regardless.”

Patti was drawn to the Institute because of our focus on patient-centered care, our emphasis on holistic care and taking a natural approach, and our mission of helping patients to proactively restore their natural health rather than react with medications.

Patti is a lifelong student of health and is constantly researching new techniques and strategies to live her best life with an vibrant and abundant healthy lifestyle.  She is an avid CrossFitter and loves the adrenaline rush that comes from daily workouts with her friends.  When she isn't at her gym, she enjoys spending time with friends and family in the San Antonio area.

Patti looks forward to seeing you in the San Antonio clinic on your journey to Get Well & Stay Well.
