Dr. Tracy K Ho, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC
Certified Practitioner of Total Health Transformation Program
Dr. Tracy Ho immigrated from China with her family in search of the American Dream, growing up with the belief “if you work hard you can accomplish anything”. They settled in the great state of Texas in San Antonio and she graduated from Health Careers High School.
She attended the University of Houston and earned her Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Psychology in 2002 in hopes to better understand “how people work”.
Not satisfied as working as a research assistant, she went back to school to earn her Bachelor of Science in
Nursing from Prairie View A&M University in 2005.
Seeing the conflict and struggle of US Service Members in Iraq she commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army Nurse Corp, where she served 11 years Active Duty. She provided care to the sons and daughters of America in all the corners of the world to include serving two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
While stationed in Seoul, South Korea, she made a life altering decision to transfer to the US Army Reserve and pursue a Doctorate of Nursing Practice Program at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2020.
Over the course of three years she completed a study on the effects of high-fidelity simulation on nurse’s perceived self-confidence and competence. For her doctoral studies she implemented a food insecurity
screening and referral program at a low-income urban clinic in South Florida.
A lifelong student, she believes in the power of knowledge and the effects it has a on person’s overall health and wellbeing. Her goal is to empower her patients by providing them education and information for them to make healthy lifestyle choices and decisions.
Dr. Tracy Ho and her husband Ryan have been married since 2008 and have 2 kind, spirited and active daughters. She spends her “off time” cooking, reading, preparing for a marathon, and exploring the surrounding area with her family.
