Arturo Rangel FNP-BS

Arturo Rangel is a native of Laredo, Texas where he graduated from J.W. Nixon High School. Arturo found out very early on that he wanted to help other through knowledge and compassion which led to him wanting to pursue a career in healthcare. Arturo earned his bachelor’s in nursing from Texas A&M International University where he graduated with Honors in 2017.

After moving to San Antonio where he gained valuable experience in various departments such as medical-surgical, telemetry and peri-operative units. He was able to work with a very diverse populations dealing with conditions that were preventable. This was the motivation that he needed to continue his education to have more of an impact on the lives of his patients. He earned his Master’s in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Arturo has decided that the functional medicine approach to medicine will be his preferred part of his practice. He is patient about educating his patients on the prevention and of developing chronic conditions with lifestyle changes that work for them. He looks to connect with patients on a personal level, and learning about what their health goals. He looks forward to connecting with you and creating a plan to help you avoid disease and improve overall health. Arturo has advanced training in Men’s Health, Woman’s Health, Hormone therapy, Thyroid management and Physical Medicine.

In his personal life his faith is a big part of his life. He and his girlfriend are proud fur-parents of their two French bulldogs Jax and Olive. They love spending time on hikes/walks, exploring new restaurants and meeting with friends and family.
